Description Nathaniel Taylor 2005-04-03 02:57:49 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: FreeBSD

The "Connection to host .... is broken" dialogue
allows "details" to be shown.
The details usually take up more than the box size, so it grows a scrollbar.
But I don't see why it shouldn't also be resizable.
I would much prefer, on my big screen, to be _able_ to extend that window so that I can see the whole message without scrolling.

In general, allowing a resize option at least when there is a need for scrollbars at the default size, is good. Bug 103038 gives a little more about this claim.

can you check if this is still a problem with KDE 4.3.1, please ?
Or at least, can you describe how I can force this dialog to be shown ?
Thanks.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
