Description Sebastien 2005-03-29 17:58:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)

After having imported mails from another client... what a surprise: no attachements was imported!!

In fact, I was rassured a few seconds later: attachements WAS imported.
But... there is no attachement icon in the messages list.
I can't have them: neither in the default layout, nor when switching on the "attachements" column!

When I create/send/receive new mails from KMail, attachement tag IS here.
So there is a problem when importing.

How can I show them or refresh the view so that KMail check every mails one by one and attach a "has attachement(s)" flag in its index, or whatever it use?

How did you import your mails?
Comment 2 Sebastien 2005-03-30 11:56:37 UTC
I imported my mails from Evolution to KMail by using the KMail "Tools -> Import Messages" menu entry, and selecting the "From Evolution 1.x" option in the combobox.

I got the same result by importing an "MBOX file" instead of "From Evolution".

And another one for the importer component...

Works it if you copy the message to a new folder? Looks like a problem with the index.

Fixed in cvs, will be backported.

Oh yes, that's working!
Good idea.

Thank you.
I will remove the index files and reopen KMail to rebuild it.
