Description Elan Ruusamäe 2005-03-21 21:43:32 UTC
Version: 1.8 (using KDE 3.4.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (PLD Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-2

1. take one email, for example one from some mailing list
2. forward it as inline (shift+F)
3. save it as draft (or queue for later sending)
4. now see the headers of that draft
it contains headers from *original* mail, like
- Received: ...
- Precedence: bulk

it's very inconvenient, especially if the precedence: bulk is kept, i cannot post that forwarded mail to my mailinglist because mailing list software rejects any mail with Precedence: bulk/junk

and even the message-id is kept, some mail filters nuke duplicate msgid's.

and copying the Received: headers... well it's not nice thing to do, to mix my and previous mail received headers together.... it just looks like something spammers do.

i vote certainly for bug, no matter if people want to forward mails with original headers. forward as attachment is for that.

thank you!
