Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

Kmail's, kgpg's and kaddressbook's bindings with GnuPG are best I've seen in any email program. The ability to set receivers client capability to addressbook is good idea and could be utilized more.

Nowdays when unicode transition causes headache (how many transitions human should go trough in lifetime anyway?), this could be eased with the feature detecting the other party's email client type and version from received messages and storing it's character-encoding to kaddressbook. Then all sent messages could have proper character enconding for that particular receiver. (assuming that the receiver doesn't mix clients with different character support)

Having fully automated system would probably not work and probably a GnuPG alike selection widget in addresbook would be needed.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
