Sentry Crash Report:

Description Iñaki Baz Castillo 2005-03-17 12:24:16 UTC
Version: desconocido (using KDE 3.4.0, Debian Package 4:3.4.0-0pre1 (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-8)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.7-ck6

When I go to the menu of any KDE application there is the option to "Send bug". Click in it opens a small windows with title "Send a report of bugs".
When I push in the bottom button "Launch Bug Report Wizard" then a Konqueror is open but the small window is still open. I think it should close after press "Launch Bug Report Wizard".

Bug 184087 has the exact opposite request: "Just don't make Enter also close it, ...".
Comment 5 Maciej Pilichowski 2009-10-16 11:41:51 UTC
The reason for "please, don't close" is interesting. The problem is the same dialog serves for two different purposes -- reporting a problem I see right now, and reporting all problems I am aware of currently.

Possible solutions:
a) additional checkbox "[x] close after reporting"
b) changing combobox to listbox (which for this dialog would be advantage anyway) plus allowing multiselection (and then closing after clicking "report")

I prefer (b).

Hi,

kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years.

KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have implemented this wish.

If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue.

We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
