Version: onbekend (using KDE 3.4.0 Level "a" , SUSE 9.2 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 (pre 3.3.5 20040809)

Hi! I just submitted this bug report for Amarok:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101671

I think it'd be great if the media KIO slave included audiocd:/, as it was meant to expose the great KIO technologie - and audiocd is a perfect example here.

It's very well possible it already supports audiocd:/, but my non-hall/udev version (suse's onofficial 3.4 packages) simply doesn't show it. if so, I'm sorry for this useless bugreport...

if not, well, I'd love to see a link to audiocd:/ instead of cdrecorder (as it is now) when an audiocd is inserted.

Hint: next time, file kio/media bugs against kio/media :-)

sorry, I filed against devices first (from kde 3.3) then tried it, found out it was media, and was unable to change it :D

It's already implemented... It was one of the media:/ goals.
It should work if you use HAL or not. Looks like a packaging issue.

OK, thanx, and sorry for the aditional work...

well, here in suse, I only have cdrecorder here, no matter what cd is in the cdplayer/recorder. guess suse's mistake... we'll wait for 9.3 :D
