can't reproduce in 3.4.0 from kubuntu hoary. I still can reproduce it in KDE 3.5.5 on SuSE 10.0 with RPMs from http://software.opensuse.org/download/KDE:/KDE3/SUSE_Linux_10.0/ Unable to reproduce on KDE 3.5.5 / Kubuntu 6.10. When saving files in KDE apps (e.g. Kate) file-order is updated automagically in Konqueror as file timestamp is changed. Using `touch` or saving from Gnome app (Mozilla) Konqueror does not automatically update file order but it is still correct after Refresh. Works here too. Perhaps it's a SUSE bug. Can you report to SUSE, and if they say it's a KDE bug, please reopen this report. I have reported this to the newsgroup "opensuse.org.suse-linux.support.kde" (http://forums.novell.com/category/opensuse.tpt) and asked if they can reproduce it on other versions of openSUSE and/or KDE. This bug has been confirmed by someone on "opensuse.org.suse-linux.support.kde" (http://forums.novell.com/group/opensuse.org.suse-linux.support.kde/readerNoFrame.tpt/@thread@1965@F@10@D-,D@+1936/@article@1958). Therefore, I have reported it to the openSUSE developers (https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=236321). |
