Sentry Crash Report:

Description jsvrp.gw 2005-03-15 12:37:54 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Using KDE 3.4 RC1.

Kontact worked in 3.4RC1, but it crashed sometimes and I don't like crashes at all, so I switched back to the standalone apps. They work all great without crashes.

I tried it today again, but now Kontact crashes at startup. It opens the canvas-window, but on the moment it normally should open a component, it crashes.

DRKonqie Backtrace:

Comment 1 jsvrp.gw 2005-03-15 12:57:40 UTC
Update:

I've moved kontactrc and kontact_summaryrc away and restarted Kontact. The application starts and when I click on the Kmail component it does NOT crashs, but when I click on the summary or sometimes another component, Kcontact crashes again.

Anyhow it still doesn't work and I think this is a gravebug for the 3.4 Final. Average users should not delete their *rc-files to make things work and if they will do, it still crashes after a few minutes. Here is a another backtrace:
