Description Sean 2005-03-12 03:38:52 UTC
Version: 0.7.2 (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux

When I run the ./configure program an error accurs that doesnt let me continue.
This is the error:

checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

Then it exits.

I installed all the needed packages. Im not sure what this error means. My system is a Linspire system. I was warned that installing programs outside of Cnr could harm my system. But I have nothing to lose and like to explore them. I do not know how to find out the info that this wizard asked for, such as: Kde version, compiler version, and so on. If someone could tell me how to find this info out I could supply it as well.

Sorry, bugs.kde.org is a bug-reporting site, not a help forum. If you believe this to be a bug in the configure script, say so, but it doesn't look like it is.

It just looks that not all necessary files are there. Make sure your X development packages are installed.
