Description Matej Cepl 2005-03-11 16:35:58 UTC
Version: 1.7.1 (using KDE 3.3.2, (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-5)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10.1

Hi,

when setting more headers while composing the message, the screen space for editing actual text of the message shrinks rather drastically (see the first attachment of the current KMail). There is probably not much to be done about this fact itself, but I remember that Outlook '97 (last time I used Windows email program on regular basis :-) had an option in message composer to switch showing all headers with one click of mouse (of course, I would love key shortcut for that as well). When switching to hiding headers I would expect KMail to look like in the second attachment, where I created rough mock-up of the same message being composed.

Thanks for the great program,

Matej

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
