Version:           0.1.1 (using KDE 3.4.0, Debian Package 4:3.4.0-0pre1 (3.1))
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-8)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-1-686

gwenview 1.1.8.   Directory with some subdirs
and images:  Starting slideshow first displayed
black screens for the directories and then started with
the pictures.

I would expect kipi-plugins to be more tolerant and skip
mime types it can't handle.

Hmm. should gwenview filter the filelist before it passes it to the kipiplugin or should the kipiplugin filter the list?

gwenview should pass only images to the plugins as a part of imagecollection

Can't reproduce with current SVN. I think it was fixed some time ago.
