This is an intersting idea but this requires changes in applications more than in kdeprint. Indeed, what you need is to turn auto-magically an application into a PS generator. Something related already exists in KOffice where there's a additional command flag --print that will trigger printing of the specified file. You can then use this feature to generate a "Print" services in the file manager for the KOffice documents. I'll redirect this bug to more general KDE. Any info of this yet? Have requested a print flag for Firefox/gecko aswell, but it doesn't look like anyone is taknig it over there either, I think it would greatly enhance the experience of office users. KDEPrint is obsolete, unmaintained and will never be revived. Closing all open bugs. |
