Version:           1.8 (using KDE 3.4.0 Level "a" , SUSE 9.2 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.4 (pre 3.3.5 20040809)
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.8-24.11-default

I've got IMAP accounts, setup in kmail, and it causes kontact to hang indefinately instead of using the "cached" data, when the network is down.

This is during startup of kontact.

Are you sure it isn't starting? Or can it be just slow at starting?

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
