Description Tristan Miller 2005-03-05 21:32:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.92)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

When dragging a message from a Usenet newsgroup folder to the "Saved messages" folder (or any other local folder), the mouse pointer changes to a sort of "move message" pointer, the same as if the shift key had been held down. However, since the newsgroup folders are read-only, it would be more appropriate to use the "copy message" pointer (i.e., the same pointer which is used when a message is dragged with the CTRL key held down) by default.

This should also be the behaviour for when the user uses the Shift key to drag a message, to serve as a reminder that it's not possible to move messages out of newsgroup folders.

Mouse pointer behaviour for dragging messages from local folders should not be altered, as they are read/write.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
