Pressing ungroup splits all the different applications-windows in top-level entries instead of sub-menu entries.
This seems to work nicely.
For 2 seconds; the first time I click an icon the icons re-join into one submenu again.

Kasbar is no more developed and it will not be ported on KDE4. Kasbar bugs are being closed as "UNMANTAINED".

For specific kasbar feature which doesn't exists in the new KDE4 please open a new wish for KDE4. :-)
