Description Christine L. 2005-03-05 02:21:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
OS: Linux

I have 3 IMAP accounts. I chose the one with the least important mail to experiment with. I left the regular IMAP account and added a "disconnected IMAP account" for the same server account....perhaps this is a problem but I wanted to experiment without deleting anything. It seemed to work OK until I tried unsubscribing to the unused folders on the "disconected IMAP" account (trash, sentmail, drafts). I could only unsubscribe to one at a time even though I was selecting all three. I could never unsubscribe to "drafts". Then I realized that all the mail in the local (disconnected) inbox had been deleted as well as all mail on the server. Perhaps the server mail was supposed to be deleted when syncing. But I lost it all in both locations. Then I tried to delete the "disconnected IMAP" account which caused kmail to crash. Tried it again and kmail crashed again. Finally, edited kmailrc to get rid of the "disconected IMAP" account and folder.

Why? Did you get an error?

Again: why?

In you Inbox? Did you try to unsubscribe this? I can not reproduce this with
kmail from kdepim 3.4 rc1.

Do you have a backtrace?

Same problem as in our favourite bug report, I think.
