Description Gav Wood 2005-02-28 20:43:06 UTC
Version: 4.4 (using KDE 3.4.0, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.3, ssp-3.4.3-0, pie-8.7.6.6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-rc2

in some (uncommon) scenarios, kedit (and kwrite, i think) doesn't properly scroll down to display the last line.

here's how to reproduce:

1. set dynamic wrap off.
2. resize the text editor window so the editor widget is (n + 0.5) text lines tall.
3. make the first line too long so it goes off the right edge.
4. press enter to create another (n) lines.

desired behaviour: the last line should be fully visible.

actual behaviour: the widget does not (and will not) scroll at all. afaik there is no way to view the last line.

kedit *is not kate*.
Your sceenshot is not kedit, it's kwrite.
So since this is filed under kate, i mark is as a dupe of the all ready existing report about that issue.
