Sentry Crash Report:

Description Greg 2005-02-27 20:20:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.4.1 (Mandrakelinux 10.1 3.4.1-4mdk)
OS: Linux

Please can we have drag drop, so that I can make a Knote into a different type of Kontact entry. For example, drag a Knote onto the to do list or the diary to make a to-do or calendar entry or to the outbox to create an e-mail with the Knote text embedded (or attached) to it.

Of course, it would be even better if this worked in both directions (e-mail -> Knote or Knote -> e-mail). All combinations of the different Kontact applications would have to be sensibly thought about to provide useful conversion capabilites. Where more than one candidate drop solution exists, a pop-up could enable the user to choose which they preferred (like dragging files around the desktop offers 'move' or 'copy')

Hmm, this bug is probably miss-filed. It should go into Kontact category. Kontact is the app responsible for figuring out what to do with items gropped onto its icons.

Alternatively, if you drop an email of the system tray of Knotes, which would create a note out of it.... that would be cool.

thoughts?

KNotes is no longer maintained since 24.08.

Please migrate to Marknote. https://apps.kde.org/marknote/
