You may like to know that I cant get this card towork in windows xp, it wont detect device, but at least I can watch, listen and capture on Linux.
Nice One!

The application you are using (kwintv 0.8.12 CVS) is very old, has several known problems, and is not supported anymore by its developers, basically. Also the trace doesn't help because it has no debugging symbols (as you can see by the "no debugging symbols found" messages). That's "normal" for these packages, I would say.

Do you know about the re-write of kwintv which is called "kdetv"? See http://www.kdetv.org/. I suggest that you use it instead because it much better and very well maintained. There are SuSE packages for kdetv as well, although I don't know if they would still work on your "old" KDE version (3.1.4)...

I hope this helps you, at least a little bit.

Hm... I guess I can also set this to resolved/wontfix then, right?!
