Version:           1.7 (using KDE 3.2.3, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.1 (Mandrakelinux (Alpha 3.4.1-3mdk)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.8.1-10mdk

when kmail is starting before ADSL connection, there is no problem ; but if I start kmail after I start the ADSL connection, kmail freezes when I want to create a new message.

can not reproduce with kmail/KDE4, and this bug is really too old ...
