This is counter-intuitive. The purpose of Ctrl+Alt+D is to get all windows out of the way so the user can find something on the desktop. By restoring the other applications, Kwin disobeys the user. I hadn't noticed this behavior in KDE 3.1, if it was introduced newly, then please consider removing it. 221586 1 pandu_rao 2004-04-05 05:58:33 +0000 I solved the problem by setting the Focus stealing prevention level to Normal (in Window Behavior/Advanced settings).
