<thetext>Version:           3.0 (using KDE 3.1.94 (CVS >= 20031206),  (testing/unstable))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20031229 (prerelease) (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-20030917-pe1600sc

I created a few notes. I then activated the "Show notes in taskbar" checkbox.
1st bug: No note is visible in the taskbar.

I manually closed a note and opened it again -> I got a taskbar entry for it.

I then deactivated "Show notes in taskbar" again.
2nd bug: Note is still visible in the taskbar.

3rd bug: closing and reopening the note makes it vanish -- that is, when you want to open it, you get a taskbar entry for it (independent of the setting being enabled or disabled), but the note will NOT be visible. It's being moved somewhere outside the visible area, it seems.

Only right-clicking the taskbar entry and hitting "Maximize" makes it reappear.</thetext>

Well, just to make sure: changing stuff in the KNotes defaults config dialog
only affects new notes. However, there really were some bugs in the "Show
notes in taskbar" feature. They should be fixed by now.

> I manually closed a note and opened it again -> I got a taskbar entry for
> it.
fixed.

> I then deactivated "Show notes in taskbar" again.
> 2nd bug: Note is still visible in the taskbar.
fixed. (for the appropriate dialog)

> 3rd bug: closing and reopening the note makes it vanish -- that is, when
> you want to open it, you get a taskbar entry for it (independent of the
> setting being enabled or disabled), but the note will NOT be visible. It's

can't reproduce (anymore). If that still happens, please reopen and tell me
how to reproduce it, if possible.

Cheers,
   Michael
