SUMMARY
When I start Digikam for the first Time it asks me to specify a folder for the database. But after finishing the setup dialog no database files are generated there and Digikam doesn't start . Is it perhaps the path contains an unallowed character f:\$f\....? I tried again with a new folder in a path not containing the folder $f and it works.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. see above
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
no database created

EXPECTED RESULT
database shold be as well created in a folder on a path containing a $
