There were many forum posts asking for a way to uninstall or completely disable Klipper. E.g: this [post](https://askubuntu.com/questions/1032985/remove-klipper-from-kubuntu) says: > "Klipper" is part of the plasma-workspace package and cannot be uninstalled without removing all of KDE. The current way to disable Klipper is through `System Tray settings > General > Extra Items`, but even with that, `pgrep klipper` shows that Klipper still runs in the background. It's a standalone application in the sense that's it's a separate binary, but not in the sense that it's separate from Plasma shell.
