<thetext>This issue is not fixed in 5.6.3. Since installing this version I have started experiencing the issue of task bar not auto-hiding when I have never experienced it before. "Always visible" is the only taskbar option that seems to change anything. All of the others make no difference. Entirely removing any KDE/Plasma config and re-installing the package made no difference. Creating a completely new user to ensure config purity makes no difference.

This bug is insanely annoying as I utilize my entire desktop area always.

<thetext>I have this problem on up-to-date kubuntu 16.10 (I don't know plasma version because About Kde dialog does not show it for some reason...) on dual monitor setup.
However auto-hide works on "outward" edges, breaks on "inward" edges only.
To clarify, placing panel top or bottom -> auto-hide works. Placing on left side of left monitor or right side or fight monitor -> works.
Right side of left monitor or left side of right monitor -> broken.</thetext>

I have EXACTLY that problems since appeared Plasma. I can't have an autohided panel between monitor edges. Must be open a new thread? Cause this appear as "RESOLVED", and that's not true for us with dual monitor.</thetext>
