<thetext>Hi,
I have my tmux to switch between windows when pressing Shift-{Left,Right}; as this combination conflicts with Konsole I disable the latter.
Problem is that every time Konsole is closed it loses my settings.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Settings -> Configure Shortcuts -> Set {Next,Previous} Tab to 'custom' (none by default) -> Ok.
2. Close Konsole and open it again.
3.

Actual Results:
Shortcuts scheme is set to default, all the custom settings are lost.

Expected Results:
Konsole remembers my custom shortcuts scheme.

May be it's worth to note - maybe not, IDK - I'm not using the full KDE DE but just a WM with its apps.
Also, I run Konsole with the --separate flag.</thetext>

<thetext>I have the same issue with Konsole 3.0.1. I set “Previous Tab” to Shift+Left and Ctrl+Shift+Tab, and “Next Tab” to Shift+Right and Ctrl+Tab. It works until I restart Konsole.

I run KDE 4 as my main environment, with some KDE5 apps thrown in (thank you arch!)</thetext>

<thetext>I have same issue. konsole Version 3.0.1, Using KDE Frameworks 5.6.0.

Oddly, when konsole starts it has no default for either "Previous Tab" or "Next Tab". Setting all shortcuts to "Defaults" will setup the defaults properly, but they are not preserved.

No other setting changes are preserved over restarts.</thetext>

<thetext>Seeing worsened problem in 5.9.0. Shortcuts behave erratically. Are forgotten in the same session without closing Konsole. Using the alternate slot, first attempt seems to stick for the whole session while future shortcuts are forgotten after changing tab. Primary shortcuts seem to stick around through restart.</thetext>

<thetext>Traced the problem down to KXMLGui, have submitted a fix to reviewboard (https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/123508/). This issue was also independently reported as a KXMLGui issue (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=345411) - probably the most suitable home.</thetext>
