    <thetext>Kubuntu Saucy, using the new plasma-nm widget.

Connecting to a lan or wifi, the try icon shows the correct icon as expected. However, connecting to a VPN the tray icon shows as &quot;disconnected&quot;, though both the wifi/lan and VPN are connected and working properly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect to Network (Reproduced with Wifi)
2. Connect to OpenVPN
3. Done
Actual Results:  
tray icon shows as &quot;disconnected&quot;

Expected Results:  
Icon representing wifi signal strength, overlaid with a lock or something to represent vpn connection.</thetext>
