<thetext>Not here, the artifact also seem to be more in the decoration (corner)?
-> Does it also happen if there's no window titlebar below it?

Also please attach the output of "qdbus org.kde.kwin /KWin supportInformation"</thetext>

> -> Does it also happen if there's no window titlebar below it?
No. And it doesn't happen if I change decoration to some aurorae theme.
Also I have oxygen-transparent decoration which is older then oxygen decoration shipped with kde 4.11 and it doesn't have artifacts around screen edge effect.
So indeed it seems that this is a bug with oxygen decoration.

<thetext>Does it also happen on non maximized windows (with rounded corner) or translucent windows (like when altering the opacity w/ eg. Alt+mousewheel)?

Selfnote: looks a bit related to bug #323065</thetext>

No.

I don't understand this part

I don't experience this bug on my system with open drivers. But on my brothers pc with amd card decorations (oxygen and aurorae) are broken since upgrade to 4.11. I tried 3-4 different versions of catalyst driver and I also tried with new user. Result is the same - broken decorations. I should note that decorations are broken with "window active state change trasitions" oxygen animation off. But with this animation on effects are choppy on every amd card I tried regardless of the driver being used. So effects are disabled on his pc for now.

Sorry for offtopic.</thetext>

> > or translucent windows (like when altering the opacity w/ eg. Alt+mousewheel)?
> I don't understand this part

You can make windows "lookable through" - iirc the default assignment is Alt+MouseWheel (ie. holding Alt and wheeling the mouse over the window)
Interesting is the behavior of such window if it had otherwise caused the issue (ie. maximized oxygen)

> But with this animation on effects are choppy on every amd card I tried
> regardless of the driver being used. So effects are disabled on his pc for
> now.
Even with the raster graphicssystem?</thetext>

Yes. I have choppy desktop effects on my laptop since this animation is introduced (kde 4.4 or 4.5). Especially "minimize" and "sliding popups" effects become extremely choppy with this effect turned on. Its night and day difference, like one user reported in official bug report (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=226182). Even with raster graphicssystem.</thetext>
