Default key for moving focus from the place where I type "fire" to the application list is so-called "windows" key- I think this isn't the best place, because it is quite often uses for "binding" the kickoff menu (so it behaves similarly to MS Windows). Not to mention that even when it's not binded, it is probably the last key to look for that (i've discovered it by an accident).
