If I click Reload or F5, then the contents display properly. Here is a forum thread about this bug, which was confirmed by others on 4.6.1, on both openSUSE and Kubuntu: http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=94172 I have been able to reproduce this on three different machines now, running 4.6.1. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1) Create (or use) a URL shortcut, as seen below. 2) Click on the shortcut 3) Watch Dolphin open up your home folder, but listing it as "empty" Actual Results: Dolphin launches but displays an empty home folder. Sometimes you can see "Loading folder..." in the bottom right corner, and it will enver go away until you Reload. Expected Results: Dolphin should open up the folder normally, as it did with KDE 4.6.0 and previously. Here is a shortcut that can be used to reproduce the bug.
