Check out the screenshot. It appears not only in expose (or present windows or whatever you name it). The same black halo is in the thumbnails in taskbar. I have kde 4.5.85 and qt 4.7.1 from opensuse 11.3 factory repo and NVIDIA 260.19.12 driver (GeForce Go 7600).
