    <thetext>It works for me in Gentoo: KMail 1.13.6, KDE 4.6.00. I&apos;m not sure which options (where are they??) that may be relevant here, but for one I have Folder &gt; &apos;Prefer HTML to Plain text&apos; unticked.

I had this problem before (the HTML tags were included in the copied text) but now it&apos;s gone. However, I can&apos;t guarantee I haven&apos;t changed the settings ever since.</thetext>

I&apos;m guessing it wont get fixed until KDEPIM 4.6 is released and the devs are doing their best to make the transition as seamless as can be (thinking back on all the Akonadi trouble we&apos;ve had earlier).

In the mean time use the selection clipboard (mark text, paste with MMB).

It&apos;s a PITA but I&apos;ve rather have a _stable_ Akonadi based KDEPIM than having to deal with unresolved Akonadi issues.

I hope my pidgin like English makes any sense :-)</thetext>
