<thetext>I was using KMail successfully (64-bit Kubuntu) for several months before this crash issue started. So this is very urgent to me as I'm blocked from sending good emails (as opposed to using my webmail). The only thing that I recall changing, between the night it was working and the next morning that it started crashing, was I installed the Linux Header update to xxx.24 that night. I tried booting into xxx.22 from GRUB in case there was an incompatibility with the new headers. But it didn't help. I've now told KPackageKit to get pre-release updates in case something coming up in beta fixes, and now my Linux is version xxx.25

I hope this helps...</thetext>
