The file konqueror.kcfg in the konqueror sources says at line 30: <entry key="AlwaysNewWin" type="Bool"> <!--TODO dolphinpart--> Checking the konqueror source, this is definitely what the option in question sets, and checking my own config files shows that the option is set properly. But there does not appear to be any reference to this option anywhere in the dolphin sources, which means the option can't do anything. I've added Peter Penz to the CC since he appears to be the dolphin maintainer.
