This causes an overflow somewhere and crashes Plasma. Not always repeatible but happens frequently. I haven't tried turning off the Pager or other applets. Seems to be dependent to the rate and/or quantity of the touchpad events as my touchpad is overly sensitive and can generate a boatload of events given the right gesture and it's exactly this gesture that crashes plasma. I use the Oxygen theme and have two widget panels.
