I then received every mail multiple times. The problem first appeared when I used kmail under high load (dbus compiled with debug flags really kills off kmail performance for me) even though I then set the mails to be deleted upon retrieval. It isn't nice for usability, because the mails are also shown multiple times, so the list gets cluttered with multiple copies of the same mail(s).
