I can reproduce this on that icon (tried with plasmoidviewer with other directories, even I was thinking that first setting of icon may cause that, but not), but when I've set brown icon tit worked (no update in panel, only bigger CPU usage) but when I've set that user home icon again (for home folder), then it crashed again.
