For example, say I want to bind "Ctrl + keypad 7" to "Switch to Desktop 1": when I type this sequence it is registered as "Ctrl + 7" (or "Ctrl + Home" if NumLock happens to be off). Then "Ctrl + 7" (using the top-row "7" key) will switch to desktop 1, but "Ctrl + keypad 7" has no effect. In previous versions this key sequence would be registered as "Ctrl + KP_7" or "Ctrl + KP_Home", depending on the NumLock state, and handled correctly. I've worked around the problem using xbindkeys but I'm assuming this should work in KDE?
