However, when I try to compile it I get an error which says: [PDFLaTeX] Sorry, the file filepath/filename.tex does not exist. It would be brilliant if kile could work on files over ssh using fish://! Only KDE apps can handle files accessed with special protocols like fish. So I would close this bug report as WONTFIX as we can do nothing about it. Any objections? However, I was wondering whether it would be possible for kile to cache a local copy of the file and work on that? Maybe it's more of a feature request than a bug in this case?
