The problem just magically went away. Good work. I know this is the Bugs team, but I have a feature issue that is sort of a bug. Just as a comment I have been using KDE for years, but not as the main OS because there never has been a 100% "just works" scenario. For instance I could never find a satisfactory driver for the printer, even earlier versions of KDE4 were a test of patience. But this Kubuntu 8 with KDE4.0.2, installed, and low and behold, the printer "just worked', I hit the print button on my web bank statement, and there it was, a perfect print. I checked the printer set up screen and it had even correctly identified the printer model. I have an intelli-mouse, 4 button one wheel, the paging back and forth mouse buttons never worked with KDE, for the PC screens or the browser web pages. I have Firefox 3 Beta 4 with this KDE4.0.2 set-up, and low and behold the mouse paging buttons "just work" on the web pages. They still don't work on the PC screens or Konquer, but I was thinking if they work in Firefox, it should not be such a big leap to get them to work in the KDE screens. I use Firefox because there still seems to be some rendering issues with Konquer, (can't access some web pages) but overall comment, this KDE4 looks like it will turn into a fantastically pleasing UI.
