There could be an option in addition to the standard resolutions to fit the visible area of krdc's window. Say you have a 1200x900 program window (as oposed to screen resolution). Asuming that the krdc's interface takes lets say 200 pixel vertical and 20 horizontally with a given theme and options (show or not menu,...) there should be one option along the line: "Fit window (1180x700)".
