For example, when playing the demo file it prints: Playing: _:track by artist[unreadable character (return?)] <b>amaroK 1.4 welcome</b> by <b>Matthias Ettrich</b> (0:12) I think the "_:track by artist[?]" should not appear, the html should be parsed, and everything should appear in a single line (2 lines is too much for the height of the bar) AmaroK comes from the following repository: deb http://kubuntu.org/packages/amarok-14 dapper main I might have some (non-amaroK) packages coming from czessi.net since I followed the following advise and then did a full upgrade: http://amarok.kde.org/amarokwiki/index.php/MP3_on_Kubuntu_6.06 Unfortunately, I don't know how to check what packages on my system come from that repository (which I removed from my sources.list in the meantime), so that I could try and remove them then reinstall the "official" ones from the kubuntu repositories.
