I tried adding music to my collection over and over and it would never stay in my collection...it'd take a bit to rescan, but when it finished there'd be no music there. Eventually I changed the flags on my Samba share from read-only to read-write, and remounted the share. When I tried adding the music again, it finally worked. I thought all of the info about the files in the collection was stored locally in my profile/in MySQL, so I'm not sure why you'd need write access, but that definitely made the difference. 328614 1 aoliveira 2005-03-27 05:15:43 +0000 I've added some files from a NTFS (thus read-only) partition, and had no problems, so that doesn't happen with all non-writeable filesystems.
