Description dfox 2001-06-30 02:51:29 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: 2.2alpha2 (using KDE 2.2.0 alpha2)
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Linux-Mandrake 7.2 2.96-0.48mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.2.17-21mdk
OS/Compiler notes:

Was using konqueror on a radio station list. some of the links were mp3 streams others were RealAudio/G2 streams. I noticed that on the mp3 streams konqueror would pop up a new window and then rather immediately raise sigsegv and run the crash handler. On the bottom of the konqueror window I see the text "no approperiate (correct spelling is "appropriate" btw) applications found.

The context would indicate that it's a nsplugin crash rather than a konqueror crash. I attempted to define a mime type for mp3 (there are ones listed for audio/x-mp3) but the crash still occurs. Should I need to restart konqueror?

Thank you for your bug report.
The bug that your reported no longer applies to the latest development (CVS)
version of KDE. This is most probably because the bug has been fixed the
application has been substantially modified or the application no longer
exists. The bug report will be closed.
