Version:           KDE 3.4 beta 2 (using KDE KDE 3.3.92)

In [KDE Components > Web Browser] I have set "in the following broser:..." option.
In aKregator > Options > Browser I have for "Left Mouse click behaviour: Open in new tab" (default value).

Left clicking on "Complete story" links fires up the browser configured in KDE components AND opens a new tab. IMO, this should bypass the system-wide settings and open with KHTML (in the newly opened tab) the complete story.

Confirmed for KDE 3.4 and CVS HEAD.
