Version: ismeretlen (using KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: SuSE Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-99-athlon Check this site: www.datanet.hu (Datanet is a big ISP here.) Navigate to the bottom right corner of the page and left click where it says (in Hungarian): "Mérjen sebességet". (There is an animated progress bar under the above text, you can click on this animation too.) It should check the speed of your ADSL connection (you will download 1 MB data during the test.) It works great with say Firefox 1.0 but Konqueror displays only garbage!
There's something REALLY weird going on. Konqueror indeed shows garbage. Viewing the page source reveals a --> closing the HTML comment prematurely, which would indicate Konqueror displaying the file correctly. However, saving the file to disk and inspecting with 'less' and 'khexedit' show that there is no --> misplaced. There is one -- followed by (U+00A0) followed by >. I cannot reproduce in a testcase, but I can confirm this bug. BTW, KWrite highlighting showed the HTML comment as ending as well, where no such ending existed.
