Version: 3.3.1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.1) Installed from: Mandrake RPMs Compiler: gcc 3.4 OS: Linux When I want one file or directory to be compressed in .zip, .tar.bz2 and .tar.gz (to compare sizes etc.), I launch the compression from the service menu: compress -> compress as file.zip, compress -> compress as .tar.bz2 etc. However, whenever I start the next compression, if the previous one has not completet, is stops and leaves an incomplete archive. So if I choose to compress as .zip, then as .tar.bz2, and then as .tar.gz, three "please wait" progress bars appear but then the .zip stops at 40% compression (e.g.), .tar.bz at 20%, and only the last .tar.gz process gives a complete acrhive (all "please wait" dialogues close).
Can you reproduce wiht KDE 4? I'm not able to reproduce this bug anymore.
Closing for lack of feedback. Likely fixed since quite some time.
