Description chronoss 2004-12-19 14:41:58 UTC
Version: 1.0-beta8 (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.3.4
OS: Linux

In the beginning, fetching didn't work at all until I turned off konqueror cache. Most feeds work now, except a few. Namely:

http://bknr.net/keyword-rss/nichtlustig
http://www.n24.de/rss/?rubrik=dokus
http://cert.uni-stuttgart.de/ticker/rus-cert.rdf

I tried fetching them with pears (another feed reader), it works.

I used ethereal to monitor what akregator does when trying to fetch those feeds manually: nothing... it doesnt even try to resolve the host name.

Sounds like cache "bug". At least in beta10 there's a setting for this, so I'm closing... Please reopen if necessary.

konqueror cache still "blocks" fetching some feeds (http://www.anandtech.com/rss/newsfeed.aspx ). Turning it off solves the problem
