Description Adrien Beau 2004-12-17 13:18:28 UTC
Version: 1.0-beta8 (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Slackware Packages

Current Knotify support seems to be limited to displaying an unconfigurable text popup. I would prefer to play a sound when new articles are listed, others may prefer weirder actions. It would be nice if the full power of Knotify was available to aKregator users, with for example a KNotify dialog embedded in the aKregator settings dialog, and aKregator listed in the KDE-wide system events settings.

I agree, that's a feature we should add soon (it's on the feature list for KDE-PIM 3.4).

We use KNotify nowadays and it'll be in KDE 3.4 too.
