Following is some debug output, per http://konqueror.kde.org/investigatebug/ This is from initially entering the url: konqueror: ERROR: Error in BrowserExtension::actionSlotMap(), unknown action : searchProvider konqueror: ERROR: Error in BrowserExtension::actionSlotMap(), unknown action : searchProvider konqueror: ERROR: Error in BrowserExtension::actionSlotMap(), unknown action : searchProvider This from reloading the page: kdecore (KAction): WARNING: KActionCollection::KActionCollection( QObject *parent, const char *name, KInstance *instance ) kio (KRun): ERROR: 0x8488800 ERROR 23 Could not connect to host localhost (port 631).
So telnet localhost 631 works too?
Correct: bash-2.05b$ telnet localhost 631 Trying ::1... Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost. Escape character is '^]'. I've seen this bug many times. I'll try to debug more this @work if I'm bored enough.
It works for me in trunk 20080507.
Works for me in svn trunk r807691 (20080507)
It works even to me. Tested on both trunk and 3.5.9.
Sorry, I've closed this, but I've just realized that it was reported on FreeBSD. I've tested it to Linux. Is it the same? Could someone using FreeBSD confirm if it is still valid or not? Thanks a lot!
